Today is granddaughter 4th born birthday. She is 6 and was enjoying yummy donuts from a special shop when Papa and I called her to sing Happy Birthday to her this am. She had not worn the special birthday hat as yet, it is so darn cute! Our daughter fixes the birthday girl her choice for supper and then she also has no school or chores for the day. Wow! Papa and I have been to a few of these parties over the years and they are fun!
So, to be thankful is to have been at her birth 6 years ago today. To know she is in a family who loves and serves our Lord has given her a firm foundation to enjoy an abundant life. She is like the energizer bunny, always busy, that smile on her face and the giggles of little girls, going on and on, just so very happy. A special thank you to her sisters, Mom, Dad for the love they give to her.
Thank you Lord for this day, for my heart which has tasted the Holy Word, meditated on it, prayed about it, pondered its profound wonders, thank you Heavenly Father for your grace and believing that you Lord, have everything under control.
