Memories

My hubby and I spent about an hour this morning putting points in the Toyota. We had not done any car work (that is our own labor) for about years and years. We had the book out, most of course hubby remembered. Anyway, it brought back the hours, weeks, months we had spent after work, on the weekends fixing one of the 4 cars we had, ours and our daughters. I love the books for dummies, you know you follow along and if the page read: if you are on this page, whoa dummy! don't stop reading, we will get your car running again. Well,actually we had only one book like that it was for the Volkswagon book for dummies. Dirty hands, run over to Sears and get the tool you don't have, not enough parts, so off to Pep Boys. It is either hot or cold, stop and have lunch, get a ride to work on Monday as the car is still ill. Those were when I remember now, not so bad, afterall we were able to be together, you know date night in the driveway. Love to hear your car stories too.
