Family Celebrations

Hubby and I spent the afternoon with dear friends at the viewing for their husband and father's service tomorrow. Hugh was a good friend, his family came into our lives when our oldest daughter was in preschool with their middle daughter. We spent many great times with them and they live about 2 blocks from us.
The afternoon was very peaceful. Met many lovely people who knew the family for years and some were friends of the daughters. You should know I am a people watcher, and seeing the sisters together was quite a blessing. Hugh was a Christian and many stories were told today. Tomorrow the service will be attended by many whom we saw today and after a Veteran's salute at the National Cemetary in Riverside, Ca. , we will return home for the continued celebration of life.
On Thursday morning baby Faith will be buried next to her grandmother in Indiana, she was the little baby who was still born, to my nephew, my sister's son and daughter-in-law. Faith was named by her Mother and Father, because their faith is strong and God will be the source they will use to transition through this time.
Family celebrations come in all forms, and sizes, honor your Father and He will heal your heart and care for you in all of your days.
Be happy, God is near. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16, this verse is only the beginning of a great life awaiting you.
Love Nana C
