Life is as good. God has given me a wonderful beginning each day, the day created for His glory, and the knowledge through His Word to take the day and be happy. To be honest with myself and to be on my knees when taking my eyes off of Him will cause me to fall.
A dear friend of our youngest daughter said goodbye to her step-dad a few days ago, a Christian man who had endured for the last 40 years a disease that wore his human form out. He was a man I did not know, but is now with God, yes in the better place we know is prepared for us, in heaven. Simply put, he will be missed, he will continue to be loved. Those of us who know Lori, prayed for her during the drive up from her home with her girls, the stay with her Mom and then to be there for her step-dad.
God gives us friends in our Christian walk. We pray for each other, study the word together and respect each other.
I often reflect on this blogging I do, and sometimes it is like thinking out loud, from the heart, and the need to share those days in life with you all.
Well, off to the kitchen as whoa! it is dinnertime.
