School Days

Today my oldest granddaughter began High School....she had a good day and set me straight on my lack of Spanish as she is using the Rosetta Stone....which I have and am seriously thinking of learning Spanish myself!

Anyway, my precious Emily a lovely God filled young woman.....I do remember when she was born....our first granddaughter. Papa Gary, Mom and Dad we all took those first pictures of her in a beautiful dress...on the baby blankets surrounded by pillows to keep her from rolling!!!!

Emily and our other grandchildren homeschooled, loving the Lord and seeing them grow...learning to read! seeing the light bulb go on when they get that Math problem....writing the first book report...learning about their country and the God-filled men who stuck together to keep us free....doing hands on projects..helping each other...so much to share.....

Thank you for school days...chalk dust....holes made in papers from a bad eraser...those wonderful stickers.....recess...yes and done for today!

Thank you to their wonderful parents who love the Lord..... for all of those hours that Papa Gary and I are priviledged to share when we visit them around the table to be there with laughter and encouragement.

Challenge: Read the Psalms in the morning...so many full of praise to our Father Psalm 99 V. 1 to 3.....The Lord reigns: Let the people tremble.. He dwells between the Cherubim: Let the earth be moved! The Lord is great in Zion and He is high above all the peoples..Let them praise your great and awesome name....He is holy!!!!
