Today Gary and I celebrate 40 years of marriage. When reflecting that I was just a young woman in my early 20's, and to have spent over half of my life with one person, well it is amazing. This last year ( which has been the 3rd year of my retirement) we were talking this morning about how comfortable we are becoming with this lifestyle. The lifestyle changes and that we believe is good. One of hubby's favorite sayings is "we just have to be flexible". I am learning easier said than done, but it is often almost in some situations "a comic relief".
Sunday morning the local radio station KCSI here in Red Oak, Iowa plays down south religious quartet music, also has a local church which comes on after the hour of music is good too.
There have been a few people in my life that have been climbing a mountain and that was the subject of the sermon this morning on the radio. Yes, the mountain is, can and in all apperance does not seem that the top is easily attainable, but as you take those steps up the moutain, you can in your minds eye and in your heart the other side is getting closer. For all of you who are climbing a mountain, take another step, rant, rave, cry, be mad, rejoice, praise, laugh, continue......
God is in those steps with you: Psalm 23 The Lord is your shepherd, your rock, your Father trust love nana c
