Celebrations.....birthdays....weddings....funerals...Funerals????
A friend of mine lost his father one week ago Sunday and a celebration of his life of 96 years will be taking place June of 2011 on the weekend that Henry (my friend's father)and mother would have been married 76 years). We were alltogether that day when just before Sunday School began that Ron received the call....he told us about the call and said all was well and he departed to be with the family. Wow! a wonderful experience will that be for their family in June.....now they can rejoice that both parents are in Heaven with Jesus.....are we prepared for Heaven with Jesus?
Mary...sweet Mother of Jesus....to return from her cousin Elizabeth's pregant in a supernatural only God could do way...with her beloved Joseph standing by her after being visited by an angel of God as Mary was visited. Mary did not fully understand the responsibility she had now...oh but those years God gave to her to bear His son.....Celebrate..yes we need to celebrate God's Child!!!!
The average person will have 5000 encounters to influence people within their lifetime...some more...... are you prepared to witness the gospel this Christmas ...to a world hungry for life? Pray God to give you boldness. to show His love through your life and how you know He needs to have you live it.
I am writing my testimony on an index card and try to keep it to 3 minutes...it will be easy to remember as God is there in His presence....

Pressing Toward the Goal Phillipians 3:14 Living and loving each day. Retirement is here, another part of the journey God has blessed me with. 65 years young, am I. Good husband and family with those 10 grandchildren. Hoping to share some of my happiness with you all. See you!!!!!!

Oh, how delightful to have a celebration and not a funeral. A perfect party to send someone home to our Lord. Great post and I am ready, I have so much to ask and most of all to just sit at Jesus's feet and look into His face. How enduring. Miss you and I hope you have an awesome Christmas!!!
